Yew Entry · Science: minibeasts and habitats

Turbo is the slowest snail in the show. Mei has a plan.

Everyone laughs at Turbo, the slowest snail at the school pet show, and Jake laughs loudest, because his snail Rocket has never lost a race. But Mei has noticed something about snails and wet ground. On race day there is a shock at the finish line, and it is not the one Jake is expecting.

For teachers: Fits minibeasts and habitats work, with a rival to boo, a winner to cheer and a real science fact at the heart of the twist.

Format: Classroom book (three episodes) and three home reading booklets.
