Atticus and Anthea Flynn: Meltdown

Oak · Eco-spy action · Book 1 of a series

Two kids. One solar jet. A planet to save.

Atticus and Anthea Flynn bicker about everything, and they are the youngest agents in Earthguard, a secret team that protects the planet. When someone starts blasting holes in the Arctic ice, the Flynns are sent north in the Kestrel, a jet that runs on sunlight. A snowstorm, a hungry polar bear and a villain with a very big drill all stand in their way. Good thing they both know kung fu.

For teachers: Fast, funny action with real geography and science inside (polar regions, climate and habitats), and two bickering voices made for paired reading.

Format: Classroom book (three episodes) and three home reading booklets.
