The cage is empty. And Mr Pike is scared of hamsters.

Biscuit the class hamster has escaped, and a trail of nibbled paper leads out of the classroom, past the kitchen and into places no hamster should ever be. Amira and Jonah have to find him before anyone else does, because the head teacher, Mr Pike, is terrified of anything small and furry. And Biscuit seems to be heading straight for his office.

For teachers: A chase round a school every child knows, with a running joke in every chapter and a grown-up who is more scared than the children.
